Extron SW2 DVI A DVI and Stereo Audio Switcher (In Original Box)

Description

The Extron SW DVI Plus Series two input single link DVI switchers are available with or without stereo audio switching. They are compatible with PC resolutions up to 1920×1200, including HDTV 1080p/60 and 2K. They feature EDID Minder®, which maintains continuous EDID communication with connected devices and ensures that the DVI sources power up properly and maintain correct video output. The switchers ensure signal integrity by equalizing and regenerating the incoming signal. The SW DVI Plus Series switchers are ideal for applications that require the routing of two DVI sources to a single display. The SW DVI Plus Series offers integrator-friendly features, including input cable equalization, signal regeneration, and peripheral device powering. Selectable cable equalization for each input via front panel switches reduces the need for additional signal conditioning equipment by compensating for signal loss when using long input cable assemblies. DVI signals are retimed and regenerated to eliminate noise and reduce jitter for a strong, stable digital signal. +5 VDC, 250 mA power provided on the DVI output powers peripheral devices such as a DVI 101 cable equalizer. Convenient control options, including front panel, RS-232, IR, and auto-input switching, allow for easy integration into a variety of environments. All SW DVI Plus Series switchers are housed in rack-mountable 1U half-rack width enclosures.
