Teamed with the K2 Dyno Replay Controller and the GV STRATUS Video Production and Content Management Toolset, K2 Summit 3G offers an ideal solution for live events such as sports and concerts, studio production, news and any application that requires quick access to recorded media. A K2 Summit 3G Production Client can be configured as part of a SAN solution comprised of multiple K2 Summit clients, K2 media servers and K2 RAID storage — or deploy a standalone K2 Summit system with internal or external storage for use in a distributed environment. Both the SAN and standalone systems are optimized to work in a file-based environment.
